Discover Envoy

Envoy is the latest in access software for the Mac OS X. It is keyboard and mouse replacement software designed to work with the IntelliSwitch wireless switch interface. Envoy is designed for individuals with physical disabilities, and those who are not able to access the Macintosh with the tradition keyboard or mouse.

Envoy will allow users of alternative pointing devices, such as the Tracker from Madentec, access to an on-screen keyboard. All keyboard functions can be controlled from these "virtual" keyboards, as well as many scripted computer functions, like launching an application.

Envoy also gives one switch automatic scanning and two switch step scanning access to the computer through scanning on-screen Setups. Activation of the switch will bring up a scan array and advance the "scan hilite" to move from one item to the next. Each switch activation selects the hilited item. In this manner, all keyboard and mouse functions can be accessed through the use of a single switch.

Discover:Screen 2.0

Discover:Screen is the software-only solution that puts a customizable keyboard on the computer screen. Discover:Screen is ideal for people who physically cannot move their head down to look at a keyboard and then back up to the computer screen.

It's great for people who lose their focus when moving between keyboard and computer screen, too. Use Discover:Screen with a touch screen so users can point to make selections. Or use Discover:Screen with a mouse, joystick or TrackerPro.

Discover:Screen is a flexible writing tool. It's easy to type whole words or letter by letter to do writing assignments, send email, etc. Keyboards can be edited. Several on-screen keyboards are included. New custom keyboards can be created with TemplateMaker.

DiscoverPro

DiscoverPro is customizable access software for Windows 2000 & XP. DiscoverPro has been specifically designed to work with the wireless IntelliSwitch or with IntelliKeys USB from IntelliTools for scanning access. For On-Screen keyboard access, it works well with TrackerPro.

DiscoverPro and IntelliSwitch together replace and replicate the action of the old Discover:Switch and Discover:Kenx. These two products replace the standard keyboard and mouse for switch-scanning uers. Think of DiscoverPro as all of the individual Discover products rolled into one. DiscoverPro gives you scanning, alternate keyboard and on-screen keyboard access depending on the hardware that you choose to use with it. DiscoverPro is a multi-purpose software that lets professionals try out different computer access hardware to assess users' particular needs.

TemplateMaker V2.0 (included) allows for the editing and creation of neww Setups. Auditory cueing and feedback (either Text-to-Speech or pre-digitized) is included with DiscoverPro.

Screen Doors

You can point and click with Tracker and WISP, but how do you type? The answer: ScreenDoors 2000 - the leading on-screen keyboard software for Windows.

Instead of pushing keys on a real keyboard, simply point and click on a picture of a keyboard on your computer screen. ScreenDoors 2000 acts just like the real keyboard typing directly into any application. A list of predicted words actually guesses what you are typing to help speed entry.

Clicking can be performed a number of different ways. You can select a key by clicking on it using the mouse or a physical switch. You can also select by "dwelling" or simply pausing over a key to make your selection. A visual cue is used to indicate the dwell time, by "filling" up the key. Once the fill reaches the top of the key, a click is automatically performed.
